Eco-Sustainability...

As an eco-responsible company, our focus includes many areas: our internal ecological impact, which includes our facility, energy expenditure, recycling efforts, and how our overall daily activity impacts the environment; and, the environmental effects of our equipment, print processes, and the substrates we offer.

We are currently removing 90% of our waste from the waste cycle and manage various other programs described below that help in making our business more environmentally friendly. Our current ecological sustainability initiative consists of:

• Recycling Program - We recycle plastics, papers, cardboard, glass, batteries, and empty ink cartridges. Furthermore, we utilize our substrate scraps in packaging and shipment.
• Substrate Alternatives - We know that many of our customers are equally as eco-conscious as we are, so we provide alternatives for popular substrates. See our comparison grid for eco-friendly materials.
• Vendor Select Program (Supply Consciousness) - Point Imaging makes a conscious effort to work with material distributors who have similar eco-strategies. Plus, we take into consideration the distance our supplies travel in helping to reduce our carbon footprint.
• Energy Conservation - Point Imaging explores all the ways we can conserve energy from facility structures like our EnergyStar-rated heating and ventilation systems to reducing electricity usage.
• Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) Certification - In the first quarter of 2009, Point Imaging will be submitting our application for SGP certification, which is the only recognized green standard in the print industry.

As we move forward, Point Imaging is dedicated to continuously researching new ways to help reduce our carbon footprint while maintaining the high level of quality and service that is our standard.
